great roomwell appointedlarge bedclosed windowsloud bellmissing lounge
the room was great. it was well appointed and included an excellent bathroom and shower. the bed was large and comfortable. as for breakfast, it was great, such healthy choices were available. add on fresh croissants and great coffees made to order, you are set up for the day.
i didn't like the fact i couldn't open windows. maybe that was good because the sound of the bell across the road rang on the hour every hour through the night. we were praying for 1am as only one chime comes then. the hotel not having a lounge area, as the restaurant is downstairs, is a pity.

perfect locationcomfortable bedhelpful staff
the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. the bed in my beautiful king room was very comfortable. the staff were helpful with recommendations for local attractions and i had delicious pizzas in the evening (the dough was perfect!).

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! It included Tom's Grans Ginger crab jam, a special touch. The room overlooked buildings decorated with twinkling fairylights. It felt magical.
I noticed only one bath towel was provided in my room.

the hotel offered ample parking behind the building. i had necessities including tea, coffee, and toiletries in my room. the restaurant was dog friendly, a real bonus.
the tv remote was not working. it should have been checked before i arrived. i had to ask to have it fixed.
