convenient brecon stay

short walk friendly staff helpful staff free parking
The location proved convenient. The supermarket is adjacent to the hotel and the town center is a short walk away. i found free parking to be a definite plus, despite the slightly tight turning space as you enter the area. the cottage included breakfast options, such as cereal, bread, and orange juice, which i found quite useful. the staff was very helpful and friendly. I had no issues at all.
the tv in the living room offered limited channels and the bedroom tv required a fix upon my arrival, though the landlord resolved it quickly.
Location
9/10
The cottage's location offers great access to points of interest, additionally it is practically on the river. This provides a unique atmosphere. i liked the immediate access to a supermarket that simplified daily needs. the proximity to the town centre is another definite advantage.
Service
10/10
the staff displayed a very friendly and accommodating attitude , this made things much more smooth. the available breakfast choices suited my needs well, providing options for a quick start to the day. i found assistance was readily available whenever needed.
Rooms
8/10
the one-bedroom house included two toilets, one downstairs and one in the bathroom, i found this to be very practical. the kitchen facilities proved adequate with a toaster, kettle, and hob available for use. i appreciated the presence of shampoo, shower gel, and hand wash in the bathroom.

breakfast goods central location
the cottage had everything i needed, including milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, butter, jams, and cereals. gareth supplied gluten-free bread and cereals for breakfast.. a microwave, toaster, and kettle were available. the location was excellent as the supermarket was next door, and the town center was a five-minute walk.
there was no hot water from any taps even after i reported it and there was a musty smell downstairs.
Facilities
9/10
the cottage features dedicated parking and is a short walk from the canal basin, great for canal walks. a large supermarket nearby made it easy to cater for myself using the well-equipped kitchenette.
Rooms

my room contained two single beds and comfortable pillows, with shampoo, shower gel, and hand wash provided. a sofa bed and fold-up bed downstairs would be ideal for families or friends. two toilets were convenient.

uncomfortable sofa detached curtain pole
I found a couple of issues . The sofa was really not comfortable. It seems it has been used for a very long time. I also found that the curtain pole in the bedroom was starting to detach from the wall (not critical, but it is starting to show signs of wear). I sent an email, but I received no response.
