lovely views great bathroom
the room had lovely views it also featured a great bathroom i found walks for the dog around the area to be peaceful. the host provided good service.
the absence of a lift could be a minor inconvenience with mobility issues.

very nice history attentive hosts high quality food
The building has very nice history. martin and robin are very attentive hosts. the food was cooked to order. Both dinner and breakfast were of high quality.
I booked a room with a specific description. the room we received did not match the photos or description online.

charming historic stay
friendly host decent menu scenic view chill location
the hosts were very friendly and shared local information i found a decent menu offered for evening meals plus the food at breakfast was very good. i especially liked the attention to detail .
i found only a very slight negative the communal sitting room had a slightly musty smell

decent stay with some drawbacks
communal sitting room clear directions roaring fire musty smell small room questionable electrics
the house had character with a communal sitting room. i enjoyed a roaring fire with other guests. the directions to the hotel were clear and simple to follow.
my room was small and in the attic. it smelt musty and was unlike the photos online. the electrics seemed questionable.
