A decent stay

fantastic location communal kitchen great shower street noise thin walls ear plugs
The location IS fantastic. I was in the middle of town. The shared kitchen helped with preparing food for my adventures. The dark room and great shower worked really well.
The street noise made it difficult to sleep. LOUD music from the pub across the road didn't stop until late. The walls are thin and i realised why there were ear plugs outside the rooms.

adequate stay near the castle

spacious room clean room central location missing desk missing carpet loud music
the room was spacious and clean and it was in the middle of the town centre which was a bonus. i really liked how various cafes and supermarkets were all around! the castle was only a few steps away and looked very beautiful in the night all lit up. i enjoyed that there's space to load and unload bags and parking just a few steps away too.
there was no carpet in the room, and i also found no desk or table, so i had to put my mug of tea on the floor. soap and towels were provided but i found no other bathroom consumables. there was loud music outside until gone 11 pm, and i was awoken by passersby talking loudly beneath my window at about 2 am!
