The location seemed promising. there were a few issues. on arrival, i found no one present to greet me. the room showed signs of wear and tear. the toilet had a very noisy macerator. it needed redecorating, and the bathroom had some black mould. the photos online did not match the reality.

the location is near both the coast and local towns. the gardens are beautiful. the room was large, and the bed was amazing. the immaculate en-suite shower room had plenty of towels.

the staff were friendly (i felt really welcomed). i was able to book in early to change in time for an afternoon wedding. the flexibility with check-in and check-out times made everything much easier.

breakfast was cooked to order. i missed the yoghurt until after i finished breakfast (hahaha). there was plenty of choice with anything from a large cooked breakfast to smaller options, including toast, fruit, and cereals.

i stayed because i was attending a wedding nearby. the mini fridge and microwave in the room were a nice addition. usual tea and coffee facilities were available, as was a hairdryer. the bathroom was clean, with large white towels supplied (a small detail, but very welcome).
the insulation wasn't great, and noise traveled easily between rooms (i could hear my neighbor coughing).

breakfast was well prepared to order and tasty. the choices were fabulous and cooked really well. i didn't have the full breakfast, but it looked very nice.
