Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service
quiet room comfortable sofas friendly staff
The hotel presented a clean exterior with a lovely hidden front garden. The reception team was very friendly and showed me to a quiet room on the first floor. I found the downstairs lounge and bar areas to have comfortable sofas and chairs. I appreciated the willingness of the bar and front of house staff to chat with anyone sitting alone.
The toilet in the bathroom was a bit loose, and it made me worry about it coming away from the system.

My room was clean and spacious with little welcome packs in the room and bathroom. I noticed that the bedding was recently updated and looked fresh. The room was also well-heated which was appreciated in the chilly weather.

The hotel has a good position near the town and the sea. It is a short walk to the pier and opposite the sea. The building looked nice and the interior design was good.

The staff was polite and helpful in all areas of the hotel. They were very engaging and cute and nothing was too much for them. The team was willing to help and always had a smile.

I found plenty of choice for breakfast and the service was excellent. The breakfast included tasty porridge with fruit. I had a Belgian waffle with bacon and maple syrup as well. Toast with marmalade was also available.

The hotel provides working heating which is turned on before you enter your room. There is also an interesting warm warning in the room that tells you not to feed the seagulls. The hotel bar had enough wine to pour small glasses.

I appreciated the friendly staff. They were always polite and helpful. the hotel provided a very clean environment, which i found reassuring. i especially liked the location. It offered great views. i thought the breakfast had a lovely selection with plenty of choice.
i thought the tv could benefit from an upgrade.

small television unrefreshed towels
The 'Beautiful Double Room Sea View' was far from luxurious. I found the television to be small. It was an older model. This made it difficult to operate. The towels were not changed daily. I had expected fresh towels each day, but they were not consistently refreshed.

vinegar smell limited tv
The bar area offered a NICE selection of drinks.
My room reeked of vinegar. It was overpowering. The tv had limited functionality since it was stuck on one channel initially. Replacement never happened despite assurances.

superb stay!
central location helpful lift
I loved the central promenade location. Shops are a short walk away. the lift made carrying bags easy, very helpful! breakfast until 10am worked perfectly for me.. i could sleep in a bit.

this hotel benefits from its prime location near the pier and shops. the convenience of being able to walk to key attractions makes exploring very simple. the promenade is right outside the door.

breakfast includes a very tasty selection of cooked-to-order items. i enjoyed porridge with fruit and waffles with bacon. there was also wholemeal toast with marmalade available each morning.

the staff were polite and eager to help in all aspects. i appreciated the friendly welcome i received on arrival. they upgraded my room to a sea view room and that was really nice.

staff kindness comfy seating minimal ventilation empty holder
the staffs kindness really made a difference for me. i also thought the lounge had a good amount of comfy seating available , it was nice.
my rooms ventilation was minimal with just one small window. the toilet roll holder was empty when i entered my room, and i had to ask for a new one.
