a nice hilltop retreat

the staff was friendly and efficient. the food was imaginative and well executed. my room had a pleasant atmosphere. the rooms were very very comfy and tidy. i appreciated the nice location and fine views from my room. i found the breakfast tasty and the ingredients of a good quality.
i noticed some noise traveled from the pub below into the room. the noise stopped after 11pm, so it was manageable.

varied optionsexcellent breakfastpacked lunch
the breakfast included many good options. the cooked breakfast was excellent. i also secured a packed lunch, which worked perfectly for my walks. the staff were very helpful. but not intrusive.
i have no complaints.
