average stay with some issues

hard bed missing lift
the room decor felt quite spartan lacking shelves or drawers. more concerning was the firm bed which caused me and my partner discomfort and poor sleep. i did not sleep well and left a day early because of it. the absence of a lift was also a problem as i assumed wrongly there would be one. it should have been mentioned on the website

central location friendly staff cozy room small room limited storage early bar closure
The location is great. The hotel is very central. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very cosy and clean.
The room was quite small and up two flights of stairs. It lacked storage. It would have benefited from some drawers. The bar closed relatively early at 10pm.

Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments

limited storage early bar closure
The room itself felt a bit cramped. It was a Superior Double Room. Storage space was definitely lacking and drawers would have helped considerably, I also missed having enough space around the bed. The bar closed quite early at 10 PM which limited our options for a nightcap.

satisfactory stay

central location good breakfast quiet room limited parking public car park coffee variety
The location offered convenient access to both the town center and nearby trails. i found the room to be thoughtfully appointed. surprisingly, the room remained quiet despite its position above the pub. We loved that. the breakfast was great quality.
initially, i couldn't find a convenient place to park. the public car park was a bit of a walk. also, the tea and coffee station lacked variety. there was no decaf coffee available.
