Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the nicely decorated rooms, often mentioning the comfortable beds, tea/coffee facilities, and complimentary toiletries, and some appreciate the blend of modern and antique décor. Many found the pub food to be great value, with plenty of choices and generous portions; the breakfast, in particular, is highly recommended for setting guests up for the day. Though a small number of guests have noted occasional concerns regarding cleanliness or smells in some rooms, the location is widely considered lovely, with an outdoor seating area, and some rooms offer fine views.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

external staircase small room
The food was good.
The room access was via an external steel staircase, so that could be a problem for some people. (I wasn't too thrilled about that.) The double room felt quite small. Furry cushions piled up on the bed weren't great, and plain cotton pillowcases would have been better than the textured ones provided.
