The building has a magnificent design. The hotel completely blew me away. The gardens are fabulous and well-kept.
The hotel currently operates without staff, so self-check-in is needed.

The building and grounds were gorgeous. I enjoyed exploring them. my room had a comfortable bed. the decor and furnishings looked excellent. the staff were helpful when i needed assistance.

Mixed Feelings About the Stay

The grounds looked amazing and ran along a beautiful river, I admit.
I did expect a four poster bed, after seeing the pictures, yet I got two old beds zipped together instead. The bed linen was marked with stains. The TV didn't work at all, I needed to call maintenance and they did bring another TV after some time. The kettle had to sit on the floor because the cable was very short.
