I really liked the freshly cooked breakfast. There was a choice of cereals. Fruit juice was also available. The car park was useful! a local post office was across the road. The excellent 'roomy' shower was definitely a highlight.
The seat covers in the lounge area WERE stained. The carpet was also stained. I noticed an old urine stain on the mattress protector.

amazing find , felt so welcomed !

dog friendly friendly staff delicious food
the staff were so friendly and always checked if i needed anything , i loved that! the food was seriously good. i was happy to see they were very dog friendly , my furry friend loved it!
the room was a tad dated.

quick service fresh food off-street parking coffee facilities
The staff were helpful. They provided quick service. the breakfast included several options, and everything tasted fresh. i liked that the hotel offered off-street parking, it made things easier. my room had tea and coffee making facilities. a hairdryer.
the room decor felt a little dated!

The car park access was a positive feature , allowing for easy parking.
The room felt quite dated. The bed seemed cheap , and the pillows had clearly seen better days. Noise from the bar downstairs made it difficult to sleep , though a note in the room did mention the potential for noise.

surprising comfort and warm welcomes

steaming coffee necessary facilities ironing board
breakfast included anything i wanted. the coffee was steaming. despite being above a public house i heard very little noise from the bar below. facilities included everything needed in the room. i was happy to find a hairdryer, an iron, and an ironing board.
the pillows have definitely seen better days, impacting my sleep quality.

friendly staff good food clean room
the staff was very friendly, always asking if i needed anything. they were making sure everything was ok . the food was good (i especially liked the breakfast). the room was very clean.
i noticed old stains on the seat covers in the lounge area, and also on the carpet. this is something they should have cleaned.
