The breakfast was amazing. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The shower had great pressure.

snowdonia getaway!
six-bed house selection of treats ideal location surrounding area
bryn derw was amazing! it's a six-bed house near caernarfon, recently decorated to a high standard. jane left us a selection of treats and the house was immaculate. the location is ideal with nearby footpaths, perfect for exploring caernarfon and the surrounding area.
the water tank was a little noisy upstairs, but it wasn't a huge problem for me!

the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from including local specialties. the tearoom on site provides a good selection of cakes and teas, open for a relaxing afternoon treat. i loved the variety!

I had independent room access. This added to the convenience. there was also plenty of hot water and a good shower, essential after a long day of hiking. the parking area was very convenient!

the location was perfect for exploring different directions. i could easily reach snowdon and other attractions within a short drive. scenic views were abundant!

mediocre stay , some issues NEEDED attention
inadequate heating system restrictive timeframe
the heating system was inadequate , a SIGNIFICANT issue . i found the room uncomfortably cold, and despite informing the staff , the problem persisted. it looked to be controlled by a timer, preventing any personal adjustment. also, the breakfast timeframe of only one hour felt too restrictive.
